The Petra Necklace is inspired by the Treasury, a monumental temple-like facade carved out of sandstone cliffs in the Jordanian desert. Statues of mythological figures adorn the exterior, which soars over 100 feet into the air. Centuries-old bullet holes from hopeful treasure hunters riddle this carved ancient wonder.

Petra was once a vast trading centre of frankincense and myrrh, and only 15% of this UNESCO site has been explored by archaeologists.  The treasury’s original function is still unclear.
